Technical & Installation Guidelines for White Agate Stone

1. Stone Arrangement at Door & Window Openings

• White Agate Stone slabs at door and window openings should be installed as a whole block (complete modulus).
• If the stone height does not correspond with the opening, special treatment and decorative alternatives may be used.
• Around fire hydrant doors, seams should be aligned with wall stones or connected regularly. If there is no skirting at the lower edge, a gap of 8–10mm must be maintained.
• Horizontal wall joints should connect with the upper edge of the window sill stone or align regularly.

2. Corner Treatments for Walls & Columns

Corners can be finished in two ways:

• Direct splicing of wall panels from both sides
• Splicing with added corner lines for a more decorative finish

3. Thickness & Size Requirements

• The thickness of indoor White Agate Stone dry-hanging boards must comply with Table 4.2.2.1 standards.
• Each dry-hanging board should not exceed 1.5m² in area.
• For natural limestone, sandstone, and travertine: thickness must be ≥30mm, and outdoor applications require advance curing.

4. Installation Methods

A. Adhesive Method

• Suitable for thin White Agate Stone slabs and small panels.
• Ideal for ultra-thin stone composite panels at corners and for special-shaped processing.
• Proper edge treatment and finishing is essential for long-term durability.

B. Wet Paste Method

• Walls and columns must be coated with a protective agent on the back and sides before installation.
• Ensures moisture resistance and long-lasting performance.

C. Dry Hanging Method

• Recommended for large wall and column panels.
• Provides superior stability and minimizes load-bearing stress.
• Not suitable for ultra-thin applications, where adhesive methods are preferred.
