Because we are greedy for the light and shade outside the window, we made the wall between the floor-to-ceiling windows black to make it "disappear" as much as possible, and made the metal wall in the courtyard into Volakas Polished Marble to let more light be reflected indoors. Due to the relationship between the living room and the small kitchen, after communicating with the owner and getting approval, the kitchen decisively removed the traditional dining table. The space was reimagined: the original middle kitchen was extended into the dining room, and the kitchen high cabinets were expanded—not only accommodating more electrical appliances but also meeting categorized storage needs.

This reflects a modern lifestyle shift: cooking and dining are no longer separate tasks but shared experiences. Volakas Polished Marble enhances this sociable environment, bridging elegance with functionality.

To further open up the space with Volakas Polished Marble, we removed traditional guest rooms and concealed both the study and outer guard doors.
