1. Wooden Board Base Structure

Commonly used in European and Chinese-style background walls, such as porch areas, TV backgrounds, and decorative panels, the wooden board base structure provides a stable foundation for Thassos mosaic installations.

Key Construction Points

• Secure Foundation: Expansion bolts are driven into the concrete base.
• Stone Preparation: Small holes on the back of the Thassos mosaic are filled with dry-hanging glue.
• Wall Fixing: The stone is bonded to the wall using pre-drilled holes and fixing bolts.

Construction Notes

1. Dry Hanging Float Process:
   • The horizontal seam position undergoes groove processing before installation.
   • Top and bottom flat seams are structured for durability.
2. Butterfly Pendant Installation:
   • Bonding the stone at the bottom of the board increases thickness, allowing for easy pendant slot installation.

2. Outer Welded Steel Structure

A widely used approach in outdoor curtain walls, this method utilizes angle iron and channel steel to create a support frame.

• The surface stone load is transferred onto the steel frame, ensuring durability and stability.
• The frame is welded and screwed into a single unit for a reinforced connection.
• Expansion screws anchor the base layer, while dry-hanging glue and special pendants secure the Thassos mosaic in place.
