Marble, Polished Granite, and Prefabricated Terrazzo Veneer Technology
This technical clarification applies to decorative panels such as marble, polished granite, and prefabricated terrazzo marble used for walls, columns, door and window covers in industrial and civil buildings.
1. Material Requirements
1. Cement
- Use No. 325 Ordinary Portland Cement.
- Must have a factory certificate or retest form.
- If stored for more than three months, test results must be verified before use.
2. Sand
- Use coarse or medium sand.

Sieve the sand before use to remove impurities.
3. Marble, Prefabricated Terrazzo Marble, and Polished Granite
- Materials should match design specifications.
- Surfaces must be free of concealed wounds, weathering, or defects.
- Avoid using faded materials for packaging or installation.
4. Other Materials
- Plaster of Paris
- Copper wire or galvanized lead wire
- Lead sheets
