CASA BRAVA's new product gravel series-GRÈ EFFECT GREY gravel slabs and FRAMMENTA gravel tiles, redefine the new style of terrazzo countertops. Its obviously irregularly distributed particles or pebbles are mixed with mini but grand stone patterns. The gravel series is inspired by the "2008 World's Best Building"-the Faculty Building of Bocconi University in Milan. The building was designed by the well-known Irish firm Grafton Architects. The duo of Grafton Architects also won the Pritzker Prize in 2020. Grafton Architects believes that the building is like a gray hard-shell architectural surface of coarse gravel, which can echo the internal space with the urban environment, creating a sense of community-like belonging and triggering more natural encounters and exchanges. The wall material effect of the building also gave CASA BRAVA a creative source for the gravel series. The gravel slab has a size of 1200X2600MM, a matt texture surface effect, and a thickness of 6MM; the unique layout color of this series perfectly blends with the surrounding environment, which is visually eye-catching and can be widely used in various spaces.
