From CAD Design to Factory Production

Design Process

1. Initial Approval:

   • Once the color map aligns with customer preferences, the design department sends the approved color map and CAD line drawing to the computer graphics team for further processing.

2. Computer Graphics Production:
   The production process involves the following key steps:

   • Sub-layering: Separating materials of different colors.
   • Typesetting: Arranging scattered parts based on the size of actual materials.
   • Processing: Compiling and reviewing the design.
   • Decomposed Drawings: Preparing detailed drawings, including:
     • Stone waterjet medallion compensation.
     • Connecting components.
     • Saving files in "DXF" format.
   • Once completed, the design is forwarded to the factory for waterjet cutting.

Factory Processing

1. Waterjet Cutting: Precision cutting of marble parts.
2. Manual Collage: Assembling and arranging cut pieces.
3. Adjustments: Applying glue and complementary colors as needed.
4. Surface Finishing: Polishing the marble for a refined look.

Quality Acceptance Criteria

To ensure high standards, the following criteria must be met:

Material and Aesthetic Quality

• The color and texture of the same stone must be consistent across the medallion, with no noticeable color differences, spots, or defects.
• The board surface should be free from cracks, damage, or gaps.

Dimensional Accuracy

• Peripheral dimensions, gaps, and pattern stitching errors must be less than 1mm.
• The flatness error should not exceed 1mm, and there should be no gaps.

Surface Finish

• Surface gloss should measure no less than 80 degrees.
• Bonding materials for gaps must match the stone's color.

Structural Integrity

• Diagonal and parallel lines must be straight and aligned.
• Curved corners must remain smooth; sharp corners must retain their precision.

Packaging

• Packaged marble should face the smooth side inward to avoid scratches.
• It should be positioned vertically to ensure longitudinal stress distribution.
