Removal of Disease Protection Agents from Sandstone Veneer Cladding

After extensive research on replaced sandstone veneer cladding, we discovered a thermoplastic resin layer on the stone surface. Additionally, Spanish Yellow Sandstone has a rough texture and high porosity, making removal difficult. Over time, this could lead to stone yellowing again.

To effectively clean the surface, we will use Q-345J Stone Degreasing Agent, which is:

✅ Neutral and non-corrosive
✅ Leaves no chemical residue
✅ Removes adhesives, sealing tape, gum, stone glue, and dry-hanging glue
✅ Eliminates wax, asphalt, marker ink, and other contaminants

Cleaning Process Steps:

1️⃣ Use a high-pressure water gun to wash off floating dust from the installed stone surface.

2️⃣ Protect adjacent surfaces that do not require cleaning.

3️⃣ Once the sandstone veneer cladding is dry, use a plastic-handled brush to apply Q-345J Stone Degreasing Agent, scrubbing repeatedly to break down and peel off the protective layer.

4️⃣ Before the stone dries, rinse thoroughly using a high-pressure water gun to remove all protective agent residues.

5️⃣ Let the cleaned sandstone dry naturally before proceeding with the color correction treatment.

This process ensures the complete removal of old protective agents while maintaining the natural beauty and durability of the sandstone veneer cladding.
