Measurement and Data Recording of Sandstone Slate Slabs
To ensure each sandstone slate slab fits perfectly within your design, precise measurement is key. From the survey manuscript, the outer arc points of each slab are sequentially labeled with letters (A, B, C, etc.), while the inner arc lacks small letter markings. When recording data directly on the left side, points are denoted as A', B', C', and so forth.
Coordinate Positioning and Data Logging
- The sandstone slate slabs are mapped using a cross coordinate system placed on the left side of the slabs.
- The X-axis and Y-axis form a 90° Cartesian coordinate system to provide accurate spatial data.
- Each point’s plane value is measured relative to this system and logged accordingly.

- The steel structure height is evenly divided, so individual step heights do not need separate recording.
- Using CAD software, the total height is divided uniformly into 20 levels.
- Height per level calculation: 3020mm ÷ 20 = 151mm per level, allowing precise fabrication and installation planning.
