Plate Pressing Process

The plate pressing method uses a single-piece plate mold, forming the slab in one step. There are two common types of molds:

• Standard plate molds
• Large plate molds

Key Characteristics of Plate Pressing:

• Efficient Mixing: Since smaller aggregates are used (due to mold limitations), raw materials mix more evenly.
• Uniform Pressure & Stability: Requires less pressure, leading to better uniformity and stable physical properties.
• Higher Processing Efficiency: Faster production due to the smaller volume per press.
• Size Limitations:
  • Cannot accommodate large aggregates due to mold constraints.
  • Fixed thickness (usually 12-40mm), making customization difficult.

What is Rose Quartz Terrazzo?

Rose quartz terrazzo (also called grindstone) is made by mixing crushed stone, glass, quartz stone, and other aggregates into a cement binder. After binding, the surface is ground and polished for a smooth finish.

Types of Rose Quartz Terrazzo Based on Binder Material:

1. Inorganic Grindstone – Uses cement as the binding material.
2. Organic (Epoxy) Grindstone – Uses epoxy resin as the binder.

• On-Site Terrazzo – Installed directly at the location.
• Prefabricated Terrazzo – Produced in a factory and then installed.
