Wet Layout for Small-Sized Panels
1. Determining the Layout Lines
- Use a wire hammer to hang a vertical line from top to bottom along the leveled wall, cylinder, or door and window.
- This helps determine the distance between the decorative panel surface and the base layer.
- The distance between the finished surface of the panel and the structural layer:
- 10mm thick plate → 15mm (plate thickness + structural layer thickness)
- 20mm thick plate → 25m
- Based on the vertical line position, mark the outer contour line of the board along the wall or cylinder on the purple agate quartz slab (this completes the first layer surface line).
Wet Layout for Large-Sized Panels
1. Determine the Distance and Thickness Considerations
- Use a wire hammer to hang a line from top to bottom to set the distance between the board and the base layer.
- Consider:
- Board thickness
- Potting width
- Steel mesh size
- This is generally around 50mm.
2. Marking the Panel Contours
- Once the size is determined, use the line hammer to mark the outer contour on the purple agate quartz slab.
3. Handling Heights Above 5m
- If the height exceeds 5m, pull vertical steel bars on both left and right sides based on the outer contour.
- Stretch a horizontal line according to the elevation.
4. Dividing the Panel into Blocks
- Based on the total height and gaps, divide the elastic line into blocks.
- Use this reference to pop up the level of each board layer on the wall.
- If there is a skirting board, ensure its upper line is clearly marked.
5. Layout for Cylinder Surfaces
- When working with large-sized plates on cylindrical surfaces, first measure the centerline of the column.
- Measure and mark the horizontal line between columns.
- Finally, pop out the block line for the column panel.
