Cleaning Guide for Bathroom Stone Surfaces
Proper cleaning of stone surfaces in bathrooms, including washbasins, shower rooms, walls, floors, and cement mortar gaps, ensures longevity and maintains their aesthetic appeal. Below are the recommended procedures.
1. Cleaning Washbasins, Shower Rooms, and Bathroom Walls
Steps:
- Dilute the cleaning agent according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Spray the diluted solution evenly on all countertops and walls. Let it sit for a while to allow full penetration.
- Wipe off any remaining cleaning solution using a soft cloth.
2. Cleaning Bathroom Floors (Natural Slate Stone Tiles)
Steps:
- Thoroughly sweep the entire floor to remove dust and debris.
- Dilute the cleaning agent as per the recommended proportion.
- Apply the diluted cleaning agent to the stone surface using a clean cloth.
- After cleaning approximately 28 square meters of slate tiles, replace the cleaning solution.
- Once the stone surface is dry, scrub off any remaining cleaning solution with water.
3. Cleaning Cement Mortar Gaps in the Bathroom
Steps:
- Clean the entire area that requires treatment.
- Dilute a non-irritating, non-acidic penetrating stone cleaner as per the recommended proportion. Apply it to the grout lines.
- Let it sit for a few minutes to allow penetration.
- Use a soft brush to clean the gaps, then immediately wipe away the remaining solution with a soft cloth or wet vacuum.
- Finally, brush the surface with a neutral stone cleaner (pH 7) to maintain its integrity.
By following these steps, you can effectively clean and maintain bathroom stone surfaces while preserving their natural beauty.
