1. Tool selection

① batch knife

The glue needs to use a batch knife, and the width should not exceed 2 inches. The reason is to prevent excessive dispersion of force, which is not conducive to the penetration of glue.

②Blade

Another must-have tool for workers during the glue repair process is a blade. The purpose is to detect pollution and remove it in time. Otherwise, the pollution left in the gap will cause problems such as blackening and degumming.

③Shoe cover

In order to prevent dust pollution, construction personnel should wear shoe covers to enter the construction.

2. Glue replenishment operation

When filling the glue, use a batch knife to scrape the adjusted glue horizontally to the gap and squeeze it hard. Then scrape off the excess glue vertically along the gap. Under reasonable conditions, the glue should leave a 0.2~0.3mm bulge at the gap.

On the one hand, the glue leaves a margin during the drying process to prevent it from settling out of the groove. On the other hand, after overall grinding, it is a complete surface.

3. Health time

After the glue is added, there must be enough time for the glue to dry and cure.

①4 hours

After the glue repair is completed, no one is allowed to walk in the glue repair area within 4 hours.

②8 hours

After the glue replenishment is completed, it can only enter the overall grinding after more than 8 hours.

Step 5: Overall Grinding

Refer to the overall grinding process of marble parquet tile in general stone care engineering.

Step 6: Sealing Glaze Treatment

marble parquet tile is an exquisite artistic design. In order to maintain the beautiful decorative effect for a long time, enhance the wear resistance and anti-fouling ability, the sealing glaze technology should be used to effectively protect the surface of the parquet. The main component of the sealing glaze material is silica (same as glass), which can greatly improve the hardness, brightness and clarity of the stone surface, and is the best protection measure for stone parquet.

After the stone is paved, the cement water ash of the bonding layer needs a process of drying and solidification.

The non-standard cement-water-cement ratio will cause a certain tension or shrinkage force in the process, which will cause the stone to be torn and cracks on the ground. At present, most marble parquet tile installations rely on manual installation. When installing, workers will draw a line as a reference line, and use a rubber hammer to hit the stone surface to make the stone and the reference line roughly parallel.

Due to the existence of various uncertain factors in manual installation, the construction is not rigorous, and it is most likely to cause stone breakage and fracture.
