1.4. Installation on Countertops (Washbasin & Dressing Table)

✅ Key Considerations

• Do not fix the lower baffle with glue alone—glue deteriorates over time, especially in liquid-prone areas.
• Use a combination of glue & stainless steel pendants for durability and safety.
• Weight of the lower baffle should transfer to the steel frame via the pendant.
• Seal stone & basin joints with weather-resistant glue to prevent glue failure due to water exposure.

1.5. Thin Plate (20mm) Installation – Common in Toilets & Clean Rooms

Installation Process

1️⃣ Base Treatment – Ensure a clean, stable surface.
2️⃣ Vertical Line Alignment – Use a ruler for accuracy.
3️⃣ Plaster Bottom Layer of Mortar – Provides strong adhesion.
4️⃣ Inlay the Stone – Securely fix the travertine in place.
5️⃣ Surface Pointing & Rubbing – Achieve a smooth, clean finish.

📌 Note: Wet layer thickness is typically 12mm.

1.6. New Wet Sticking Method – Stone Adhesive

1.7. Installing on Wooden Base Layers

✅ Procedure

1️⃣ Remove the back net from the light travertine pool deck.
2️⃣ Glue the stone directly onto the large core board (gap ≤ 5mm).
3️⃣ Use stone AB glue (avoid marble glue) as the bonding agent.
4️⃣ Groove the stone in its width direction.
5️⃣ Secure the stone using 18# copper wire attached to self-tapping screws on the wooden board.

⚠️ Important Notes

• Gluing is simple but depends heavily on glue quality.
• Hidden glue points pose a safety hazard if defects go unnoticed.
• Gluing is only recommended for low-risk applications (e.g., service desks).
• Fireplaces should use dry hanging instead of glue fixation for better safety.
