Precautions for Ledgestone Wall Tiles Installation

1. Material Selection Based on Color

• Light-colored stone: Use white cement and river sand (to be provided by the owner).
• Dark-colored stone: Use ordinary cement.
• Wood base installation: Requires glass glue, which must be prepared by the owner.

2. Installation Timing for Specific Areas

• Door threshold stone: Best installed with floor tiles or before the door frame is installed.
• Window sill: Install before the final putty application.
• Basins & stoves: Install slightly later in the process.

3. Floor Stone Installation Guidelines

A. Glue Net Handling

• Backside glue net: Helps prevent stone damage during construction and prevents cement slurry from seeping through the stone, which may create a cracked appearance.
• Issue if glue net is removed: After 2 days, metal tapping on the stone may produce an "empty drum" sound.

B. Treatment Method

• If the glue net is tightly adhered: Do not remove it; proceed with direct installation.
• If the glue net is loosely connected: Remove it before installation.
• If cement slurry seeps onto the stone surface: Wait two days and then gently scrape it off with a wallpaper blade.
