Stirring Process

1. Stirring the Adhesive: Weigh the adhesive accurately and stir it evenly.

Precautions:

7.1 Pouring Sequence:

• Pour the weighed liquid components into the mixing bucket first.
• Slowly add the powder while stirring with a hand-held mixer.

7.2 Stirring Method:

• Rotation speed: 300 rpm
• Stirring time: 5 minutes
• Lift the stirring gun up and down during mixing to ensure even blending.
• Test the adhesive by picking it up with a trowel; if it falls in about 5 seconds, the adhesive effect is optimal.
• Let the mixture stand for 2 minutes, then stir again briefly to remove air bubbles.

7.3 Importance of Accuracy:

• The precision of weighing and uniformity of mixing directly affect the bonding quality.
• It is recommended to have a dedicated person in charge.
• A timer should be used to control the mixing duration.

8. Pasting Process

• Slightly twist and rub the gray sandstone garden tiles up and down when placing them.
• Lightly tap with a rubber mallet to ensure a firm bond between the stone and adhesive.
• Check if the adhesive has compacted at the edges.
• Use a level ruler to adjust the flatness and the width of the reserved seam.

9. Protection Guidelines

• Avoid placing people or heavy objects on the gray sandstone garden tiles for 3 days.
• After 3 days, protect the surface with foam boards, gypsum boards, or cotton wool coverings.
