If you cut with a circular saw or a granite walkway stepsknife, a cloud of dust will rise. It is better to rent an electric cutter with diamond cutting blade for $100 to $150 a day, including fees for the blade. Our machines are equipped with garden hose fittings and water tanks. Mark the cutting line of the stone with a square rafter made of steel, white grease pencil or crayon # 9. When you cut granite walkway steps, you have to work very carefully to get an attractive pattern. 

If you are on a large, complex granite steps and paver walkway project where you are cutting a significant amount of granite for a walkway, consider a stone saw or at least a demolition tile saw. If you have a smaller project where only a few granite sand walkway need to be cut, a saw can be exaggerated. In this case you might be better served with a hammer, chisel, granite cobblestone walkway splitter or circular saw.
