1. Use two kinds of protective agents with modified polysiloxane resin concentration of 3% and 6% to roll coating on the surface of external sandstone cladding with water content of 5%, so as to soak 20mm deep, and then heat and cure at about 200℃ for 30min . After the protective treatment, 6 kinds of mixed molds were cultivated on the external sandstone cladding surface, and the area of mold reproduction and the area of discoloration caused by the molds were measured. The measurement showed that compared with the sandstone without protective treatment, the mold propagation area was greatly reduced, and the discoloration area was zero.
2. Roll-coated the sandstone surface with a protective agent with a modified polysiloxane resin concentration of 6% for protection treatment, and then conduct an outdoor exposure test for 19 months in a cool environment not exposed to direct sunlight. Tests have shown that there is almost no mold and moss on the external sandstone cladding surface.
It is known from the above that the protective treatment of the external sandstone cladding surface with a modified polysiloxane protective agent with a ladder structure can prevent the formation of mold and moss, and the surface will not have a filmy feel, maintain the original appearance, and will not change color.
