Finding Rules & Sticking Ash Cake – Set layout guides and base levels

Wiping Bottom Mortar – Use a 1:3 cement mortar mix (12mm total):

• First pass: 5mm
• Second pass: 7mm

Spring Line Division – Lay out accurate guidelines

Laying & Dipping Block Material – Apply 2–3mm cement slurry (with 20% 107 glue) to the back of wet tiles

Block Placement – Tap gently using a wooden hammer, level with a ruler

Jointing & Wiping – Final surface cleanup and finishing for joints

This process ensures proper alignment, adhesion, and a high-end finish for smaller terrazzo tiles.

For larger custom terrazzo tiles, additional preparation and structural reinforcement are required:
