In good weather, Carrera vanity tops can be dried naturally. The resin glue usually takes more than half an hour to dry. If the weather is bad, drying takes about 1-2 hours, though a dryer can speed up the process. It is best to wait and finely grind after drying.
Many factories use AB glue for brushing, which provides a better effect, though at a higher cost. Some factories skip rough grinding, washing, and inspection, applying glue directly to the wool board—often problematic. Usually, Carrara marble counters are brushed less, while Carrera vanity tops are brushed more.
Fine Grinding: Use a polisher to individually polish the qualified or repaired mats into matte boards. Red crayons are used to mark unrepairable cracks, color lines, marble bathroom vanity tops with sink gall, sweeping, and other defects. These marks help the next process avoid defects and ensure small-size components like water baffles or thickened edges are processed efficiently.
The gloss of European and American orders generally must be above 90° (or processed according to customer requirements). If certain Calacatta marble vanity top types cannot meet these requirements, this is typically negotiated with the customer. Additionally, the flatness tolerance for the European and American standard matte board is 0.8MM.
Surface Protection: Generally, black stones need to be covered with a film to prevent scratches during follow-up processing and transportation. The film is applied after grinding, removed during quality inspection, and re-applied after acceptance.
Trimming: Cut the qualified matte board according to production order requirements, shaping the main table, back block, side block, edge, and other components. During cutting, carefully inspect the surface for defects such as cracks, dark spots, color lines, stains, or sweeping flowers. Avoid yin and yang surfaces and ensure the marble vanity top for vessel sinks meets aesthetic and structural standards.
