According to the Building Materials Industry Standard (JC202-92), the following technical requirements must be met:

Block Dimensions

• The stone must be in the shape of a right-angled parallelepiped.
• Minimum size requirements:
  • Length: ≥ 100 cm
  • Width: ≥ 50 cm
  • Height: ≥ 70 cm

Appearance Quality

• The hue and patterns within the same batch should be consistent.
• Defects such as missing corners, missing edges, and cracks should comply with the standards specified in Table 4.25.6.

Physical Performance Requirements

• Bulk Density: ≥ 2.6 g/cm³
• Water Absorption: ≤ 0.75%
• Dry Compressive Strength: ≥ 20 MPa
• Bending Strength: ≥ 7.0 MPa

2. Quality Requirements for Blue Limestone Veneer in Craft Carving

For craft carving applications, blue limestone must meet higher structural and aesthetic standards, including:
