Blue grey limestone pavers is a beautiful stone that can be used as tabletops and countertops, but it is easily stained because of its porosity. We need to remove the stains on the blue grey limestone pavers in time. Don't worry too much if it gets stained. The stains on the blue grey limestone pavers are not permanent.
What you need: sponge, cloth, ointment, plastic sleeve, tape, cotton ball
Step 1: Use a sponge to clean the blue grey limestone pavers. Soak the sponge with cold water first, and then squeeze out the excess water. Wipe gently with a sponge and dry with a soft cloth.
Step 2: If the stain cannot be removed by simple cleaning, ointment (paper or powder material used to absorb dyed substances) can be used. Heavy calcium carbonate and hydrogen peroxide can be used to make ointments, or chemical reducing agents can be selected according to stains.
Step 3: Prepare ointment. If you are using a powdered ointment, use the stain remover and mix it until it is sticky, just like peanut butter.
Step 4: Wet the stain with distilled water. This will fill the porous surface of the blue grey limestone pavers and isolate the chemical remover from the stain.
Step 5: Apply ointment to the stain and cover the stain with a plastic sleeve. Tie the edges with tape to seal the ointment to the dyed blue grey limestone pavers.
Step 6: Let the ointment dry. The purpose of this step is to allow the ointment to separate the stain from the blue grey limestone pavers
Step 7: Rinse the blue grey limestone pavers surface, remove the ointment, and dry it with a cloth. Do it again if the stain has not been removed.
Tips:
If the marble is very dirty, a small amount of borax can be used when cleaning it. Rinse with cold water when cleaning with borax.
