Quality Requirements for Black Limestone 600 x 300 Slabs

1. Construction Regulations

(1) Height Difference Between Adjacent Material Surface Layers

• The height difference should not exceed the limits set in Table 7-4-13 of the relevant construction regulations.

(2) Thickness Deviation

• The thickness deviation for each layer relative to the design thickness is only permitted in isolated areas.
• However, deviations must not exceed the specified layer thickness.

(3) Alignment & Gap Deviation

The deviation in the alignment of blocks (gaps) from a straight line should comply with the following limits:

For a 10-meter length:

1. Ceramic mosaic tiles, black limestone 600 x 300 slabs, terrazzo slabs, and cemented bricks:

• The deviation must not exceed 3mm.

2. Other block (board) surface layers:

• The deviation must not exceed 8mm.

(4) Strength of Hardened Material

• After laying the surface layer, the material's strength should be verified using test blocks.
• The test blocks should be cured under the same conditions as the ground.
• Test block requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 test blocks per 500 square meters of flooring.

(5) Surface Flatness & Leveling

• The flatness of each ground layer (surface layer, cushion layer, etc.) must be checked using a 2-meter ruler in all directions.
• For inclined surfaces, verification should be done using a level ruler and a sample ruler.

Allowable Deviation:

• The deviation from the horizontal plane or design slope must not exceed 0.2% of the corresponding room size.
• However, the maximum deviation must not exceed 30mm.

• Water splashing tests should be conducted to ensure proper drainage.
