Arabesque Mosaic Floor Tile Quality Control
1. Adhesive Preparation and Application
- Adhesive and adhesive should be mixed strictly according to the specified ratio, without adding any other materials or admixtures.
- The mixed adhesive should be used within 2 hours.
- The construction site temperature should be between 5–35°C.
- After each use, tools and mixing heads should be rinsed with clean water.
2. Surface Preparation and Bonding
- The bonding surface of the slate should not be treated with a protective agent before bonding to prevent hollowing and detachment.
- If the bonding surface has a back net pasted with resin glue, it must be cleaned with a spatula or other tools before applying the adhesive.
- The coating thickness of the stone waterproof adhesive should be uniform, with no omissions or holes.
3. Curing and Protection After Installation
- Before the adhesive layer is fully dried, avoid rain and direct sunlight to maintain its performance.
- Avoid using sharp tools that could damage the adhesive layer.
- The adhesive surface that has been painted with Arabesque Mosaic floor tile waterproof adhesive does not need additional protection on this side—only the other five sides need protection during installation.
4. Caulking Considerations
- Since floor heating causes significant temperature variations and deformation, flexible caulking agents should be used to accommodate movement.
- Rigid materials should never be used for caulking.
5. Post-Installation Maintenance
- After construction, keep the paved surface open to allow water vapor to evaporate quickly.
- Do not cover the paved surface with plastic film or other vapor-blocking materials.
- Avoid walking on the tiles for three days.
- For one week, no water spraying, knocking, or collisions should occur.
6. Safety Precautions
- The alkalinity of Arabesque Mosaic floor tile waterproof adhesive and flexible adhesive is lower than cement and has minimal skin effects.
- If adhesive accidentally enters the eyes, rinse with clean water immediately.
