Based on the experimental research, this paper analyzes the reasons for the wear of the grinding wheel and the factors affecting the gloss through the changes of the grinding wheel size and the smoothness of the processed amethyst agate slab, so as to determine the granite grinding process. Two kinds of special-shaped resin grinding wheels with different particle sizes but the same size and shape (as shown in Figure 1) are used to process two kinds of granite with different hardness. Under certain processing technology, the influence of grinding wheel size changes and stone glossiness are measured to analyze the influence The factors of grinding wheel wear and gloss, the radius compensation value of the grinding wheel in the granite grinding process is obtained, in order to improve the efficiency and precision of stone grinding, and promote the application of numerical control equipment in the stone processing industry.
